Executive Director Notes

With March comes spring break! I encourage you to enjoy some time away from your corporation to rest and recharge. Enjoy time with your family and friends. But also remember to take some time for yourself by reading a book, taking a nap, or whatever allows you to unwind and rejuvenate your mind and body. You are an extremely important member of your corporation so remember to take care of yourself!

Chip Pettit

Chip Pettit is the Superintendent at Duneland School Corporation. He is in the middle of his 4th year there.

There have been a lot of things going on at Duneland this year with seven schools under construction. They have one new elementary school as well as six renovated elementary and middle schools.

Chip has many future goals for Duneland. However, at the top of his list he would just like to inspire excellence, ignite curiosity, and unlock the potential for all students and staff.

We asked Chip what he finds the most rewarding about his position. He shared, "I enjoy working with our leaders (directors, principals, assistant principals, deans, instructional coaches) to expand their influence in the spirit of student performance."

In his spare time, Chip enjoys spending time with family, golfing, and fishing.
