STEM/Lit Cadre 2 Interest Form

Are you ready to learn about using Multi-Sensory Approaches in Phonics Instruction for the K-2 classroom (or during intervention)? While utilizing The Orton-Gillingham Educators' Guide, we will discover & discuss the fundamentals of multi-sensory instruction. Educators will leave understanding the purpose behind visual and blending drills, the basic rules of language, & the purpose of assessment to guide instruction for students to succeed. This session will utilize multiple resources for phonics instruction while also allowing teachers to share their ideas and/or strategies.  Teachers will leave with a toolbox of tips to quickly implement during their literacy block!

Together we will share real-world examples and how they will affect the classroom, as well as dive into strategies and activities to unlock the power of the Next Gen Science Standards (NGSS) in the classroom!

The annual textbook caravan for the 2022-23 school year will feature resources for health and science. The event is free and open to all. Choose from Avalon Manor, Merrillville on January 19 or Swan Lake, Plymouth on January 24th.

Sessions offered include: K-5/6 Science, 6-8 Science, Biology, Chemistry/Physics/AP (morning) – 6-12 Health (afternoon), Supplemental/Intervention
